# Legal Labs | LEG4L L4BS > Founder-led legal and regulatory systems practice for programmable finance in Mexico and Latin America. Canonical Spanish website: https://www.leg4ll4bs.com English website: https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/en Contact: info@leg4ll4bs.com ## Practice Legal Labs is the primary machine-readable name for LEG4L L4BS. The practice handles regulated market entry, fintech and financial regulation, digital assets, tokenization, technology contracts, and the design and implementation of legal systems. Juan Ramón Hernáiz is the founder. For three years he served as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary to the Board of Governors of the CNBV, Mexico's banking and securities regulator. ## Principal offers - Regulatory Diagnostic: perimeter analysis, route options, timing, risk flags, and a go or no-go recommendation. Fixed fee quoted before work starts; delivered in two weeks. - Market-Entry Architecture: entity plan, filing strategy, core contracts, banking approach, and compliance structure. Fixed fee by phase with delivery dates agreed in advance. - Tokenization Architecture Sprint: structure chart, term-sheet skeleton, regulatory analysis, and bank-exposure design. Fixed fee quoted before work starts; delivered in three to four weeks. - Legal Systems Studio: bounded legal AI workflows and bespoke legal tools built around the client's process, controls, and risk profile. - Legal Systems Retainer: ongoing maintenance, governance, and improvement of client-specific agents and legal systems under a fixed-scope engagement. ## Engagement model The founder scopes, leads, and delivers the work. Principal offers use defined scope and fixed fees rather than hourly billing. This file describes the practice and routes inquiries. It does not provide legal advice, a regulatory conclusion, or a fee quote. ## Lex-Mex public corpus Selected Mexican laws and regulations with exact provision text and retained official PDFs. Coverage is partial (four instruments: LRITF, LIC, DCG-ITF-2018, DCG-IFPE-2021); repository classifications are qualified. It does not establish current validity, and a search with no match does not prove legal absence. - [Lex-Mex reader](https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/): human reader with retained official PDFs. - [Machine-readable corpus index](https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/llms.txt): immutable release, per-instrument Markdown indexes and exact provision text. ### How an agent should search it 1. Resolve the current release: GET https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/current.json returns `release.id` (64 hex characters) and the catalog and coverage URLs. Do not hard-code the release id; it changes when the corpus is republished. 2. Search over HTTP: GET https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/r/{release_id}/search?q={spanish words}. Optional `instrument` filter (slug from the catalog: `lritf`, `lic`, `itf-dcg-2018`, `ifpe-dcg-2021`), `limit` (default 5, maximum 10; use `limit=10`) and `cursor` for the next page. Results are ordered articles first, then by how often the phrase occurs, so the best match can be on page 2: follow `Siguiente página` / `cursor` before concluding. Queries are Spanish words or phrases, at most 256 characters. Matching is literal: the whole query must appear as a contiguous phrase of whole words (case- and accent-insensitive); there are no synonyms, stemming or per-word matching. Use one short word or the exact legal wording (for example `segregados`, or `cuentas de depósito de dinero a la vista`), and search separate concepts separately; a long natural-language query usually returns nothing. 3. Read the complete provision before answering: GET https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/r/{release_id}/mx/{instrument}/article/{number} (also `transitory` and `annex`). Do not treat search snippets as complete norms. 4. List instruments: https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/r/{release_id}/instruments. Coverage and limits: https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/r/{release_id}/coverage. 5. Human-readable search form and worked example: https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/agents/ ### MCP (read-only) Endpoint: https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/lex-mex/mcp (MCP Streamable HTTP, stateless JSON-RPC 2.0; POST only, no authentication; GET returns 405). Tools: `search`, `get_provision`, `get_references`, `get_coverage`. Every tool takes the `release_id` from `current.json`. ### Limits and etiquette Anonymous and rate-limited: expect HTTP 429 with `Retry-After`; wait and retry, do not parallelize. Search, cursor and API responses are marked noindex. Do not bulk-crawl; the sitemap at https://www.leg4ll4bs.com/sitemap.xml lists every provision page for indexing. Cite the release id and the official source link that each provision page shows.
